West Ham United can confirm that England have finished second in the final 2014/15 UEFA Respect Fair Play table
West Ham United can confirm that England have finished second in the final 2014/15 UEFA Respect Fair Play table, meaning the Hammers could yet be hosting European football in their final season at the Boleyn Ground.
England finished second in the table behind the Netherlands, with the Republic of Ireland in third.
England’s finishing position means an extra place in the UEFA Europa League will be made available to the winners (or highest-placed team that has not already qualified for UEFA Club Competitions) of the Premier League’s Fair Play Table.
The Premier League published their most-recent Fair Play Table on 5 May, with West Ham sitting second in the standings behind Liverpool.
Fair Play Table positions are calculated using a formula that sees delegates assess teams in five categories – Red and yellow cards, Positive play, Respect towards opponents, Respect towards the referee and Behaviour of the team officials.

Should Liverpool, currently fifth-place in the Premier League, finish top of the Fair Play Table but qualify for the UEFA Champions League or Europa League through their league position, then the extra European place will go to the highest-place team that has not already qualified for UEFA Club Competitions.
As the table on this page shows, Liverpool currently sit on a score of 281.5, with West Ham just behind the Reds on 281.25. Everton are third on 278.75.
The team awarded England’s additional UEFA Europa League place will be determined following the conclusion of the Premier League fixtures on Sunday 24 May.
