The West Ham United Foundation will host a second open day at the Boleyn Ground on Tuesday 14 July from 9.30am-3pm to help recruit for the 2015/16 Leadership Through Sport & Business programme.
Leadership Through Sport & Business is a UK social mobility and employability charity, combining sport and business to enable young adults with a spark to fulfil their potential and enjoy the benefits of employment.
The partnership with LTS&B and Newham College offers school leavers a unique apprenticeship programme that enables them to develop their leadership potential, learn accounting skills, and gain practical experience in paid employment.
What does the open day include?
We are looking for 20 young adults with a spark to start the course summer 2015.
Initially you will engage with Newham College to achieve Level 2 AAT.
Work placements and apprenticeships will then commence January 2016 for 12 months, ending December 2016.
Apprentices are paid a minimum wage of circa £100 per week as long as they fully participate in all aspects of the course. Some employers may offer more.
To register your interest today, contact Khadijah Soopee, Newham College, via email at [email protected] or on 020 8257 4169
Additional contact - Sandra Rashid, Newham College: [email protected], 020 8257 4169
