Slaven Bilic is relishing the prospect of leading West Ham United as they make the move to the new Stadium on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park a year from now.
The Hammers boss joins the Club at an exciting time in its history, as West Ham prepare to bid an emotional farewell to their home since 1904 before making that momentous move to Stratford.
Bilic believes that will act as the springboard for the Hammers to move on to greater things and he cannot wait to be a part of it.
“It’s brilliant,” he beamed. “It’s huge, it’s special and it’s going to be a big thing for the Club of course. I think the fans will be delighted with it.
“We’re going to enjoy the last season at the Boleyn Ground then it’s going to be magnificent for all of us to start playing in the new Stadium.”
