Video: Joint-Chairman exclusive

West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Gold says the Club are hoping to appoint an established coach who has experience of managing at the top level across Europe.

Speaking exclusively to whufc.com, the Joint-Chairman says they are not prepared to settle for second best and want a manager who can help them become a 'big fish' in England.

Detailed planning meetings are scheduled to take place over the weekend and Mr Gold says they are looking to appoint someone as quickly as possible.

Mr Gold said: “We would like someone who has managed successfully in one of the major leagues in the world. We want to bring in an established manager who has been there and done it.”
