Considering how much has changed at West Ham United over the last 12 months, it's funny to think that it was only a year ago that the Hammers were thousands of miles away on a pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia.
A more opposite style of preparation for another gruelling Premier League campaign you would be hard to find. So far this July, the Hammers have already played six games, and could, due to Europa League commitments play a total of 12 games before a ball is kicked away at Arsenal on Sunday 9 August.
All the players and staff had a great adventure down under discovering pastures new. For many it was their first time, while for Winston Reid, he got to enjoy a rare visit home.
It was an unforgettable experience, with so many fans from across the world making the journey. Fingers crossed the Hammers will one day make a triumphant return.
