The West Ham United players gathered in front of the big screens at their training camp in Ireland and were thrilled to see the Hammers come away with a 3-0 win.
Watching the game exclusively on whufc.com, the travelling party were delighted to see Diafra Sakho net a brace and captain James Tomkins get on the scoresheet.
A number of the Development Squad players including highly rated youngsters Reece Oxford and Lewis Page both impressed once again and showed new manager Slaven Bilic they are ready to compete in the Europa League.
Development Squad keeper Sam Howes, who is part of the squad in Cork was thrilled to see his team-mates play such a big part in the victory and hopes he can follow in their footsteps.
Howes said: “I have played with a number of them over the season and I'm sure they will learn a lot from the game.
“I have known Reece for a few years now and he has progressed. He is a credit to have at the club and going through the international system.
“I want to impress the new manager and will see what happens over the next couple of months.
“It is great that the boys got the win and we can go into the second leg feeling positive.”
