Lifelong Hammer and New Stadium Reservation Centre advisor Scott Adams is thrilled to be part of building West Ham United’s future on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
As supporters take up their appointments at the Reservation Centre, Scott and his colleagues are on hand to help fans pick the best possible seats at their disposal.
For a dyed-in-the-wool Hammer, the process is an entertaining and rewarding one, as Scott does his bit to reunite football families at West Ham’s new home.
“It's great,” he told West Ham TV. “With people coming into the Reservation Centre, you have different generations of families and you have groups of friends.
“We meet people who say I sit in the Chicken Run, my dad sits in the Bobby Moore Lower and my uncle sits in the Sir Trevor Brooking Upper.
“You've got all these fans, who are family and friends that have never been able to sit together. That's one of the most rewarding parts of the job, that you're able to get everyone back together.
“I've had families come in, a father and son came in, he said I'm buying a ticket for my son as well now, so it's three generations of a family.
“I asked the guy how old his son was and he said six months! We're getting Hammers who are six months old, right up to 60, 80, 90 and so on. It's really positive to see generations coming in.”
With strong West Ham lineage, Scott knows just how much the seat selection process means to supporters and so is rightly proud of his part in proceedings. And, what’s more, he’s rather enjoying talking football all day!
“It's the legacy and to be part of the project is an honour,” he continued. “For my dad and my dad's family, being lifelong Hammers from around the Plaistow area as well, for me I know I'll look back on it in years to come and be honoured that I'd been part of it.
“I enjoy every day talking about West Ham to other West Ham fans, listening to stories and being part of what is the biggest project West Ham have undertaken thus far.
“It's what I'm passionate about, it's what I love doing. That's why I'm proud of doing what I do and it's good fun coming into work every day and helping the supporters.”

Surrounded by talk of the new Stadium each and every day, it is hardly surprising that anticipation of August 2016 is reaching fever pitch.
“I can't wait,” he added. “We hear it from fans every day, they experience that they have here at the Reservation Centre and they can’t wait to get in there now!
“Don't get me wrong, it's going to be an amazing season for the last season at the Boleyn, but moving into that new Stadium, it really does cap off a new era for the Club, both on and off the pitch. The fans have nothing to fear, it's a hugely exciting time.”
