West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan could not resist copying Mark Noble's infamous cheeky smile and says the players are brimming with confidence following their 2-0 victory over Arsenal.
Noble let out all his emotions on West Ham TV following the memorable win at Emirates Stadium and the video has now been seen by well over half a million people.
Nolan has nothing but admiration for the way Noble conducts himself both on and off the pitch and feels he would be the ideal candidate to lead the side when he eventually hands over the armband.
Nolan said: “I found it quite funny but that is Nobes for you. The lad wears his heart on his sleeve and he is a fantastic boy.
“You could see how much it meant to him and everyone at the football club. We have got to follow that up this week, otherwise it will be a waste.
“I have really enjoyed my time here with him and I hope he has learnt a bit from me as an older pro and the way I am with the other players.
“He tells me he has and I definitely feel he will be the skipper of this Club and that is who I am tipping to succeed me.”
