Noce keen for United upset

Having made his first start for the Hammers in last week's 3-1 defeat at Stoke City, Antonio Nocerino is hoping for a more positive result when they take on Manchester United on Saturday.

The on loan AC Milan man is keen for another chance from the off as West Ham look to halt a two-game losing run.

He said: "I look forward to all matches because every match is important in the Premier League.

"There is a wonderful atmosphere in the stadium and we want to make our supporters happy so every match is important for us.

"I don't know how many points we need but we only need to to think about ourselves and obtain as many as possible."

The Italy international has had to be patient for his first start in Hammers colours but has taken to his new club and is hoping for a more permanent deal.

He added: "I like English football. It's a fast game and it's a league I've always watched from Italy and I'm very happy to be here, especially at West Ham because they've made me feel like it's a family. It's a nice environment and I think I made the right choice.

"I feel the Premier League suits my game. I think I can do well and stay here for a long time.

"I like it here and would love to play in the Premier League next season, hopefully at West Ham because they were the first team to knock on my door and trust me."
