Leo Chambers is currently enjoying a breakthrough season having made his first two senior appearances for the club in the opening weeks of the campaign.

An intelligent defender who is comfortable at centre-back and right-back, Chambers has made his way up through the ranks at the Academy of Football.

The youngster is a big part of Nick Haycock's Development Squad and has caught the eye of Sam Allardyce who handed him his first team debut in this season's Capital One Cup Second Round tie against Cheltenham Town.

2013/14

Made his senior debut in the Capital One Cup Second Round match against Cheltenham on 27 August 2013…Was named in the England Under-19 squad to face Estonia in a friendly on 5 September 2013…Scored his first goal on his England Under-19 debut during the 6-1 win over Estonia…Makes his second appearance for the first team playing 90 minutes in a 3-2 win over Cardiff City in the Capital One Cup.

The talented defender has represented his country at international level from Under-16s through to Under-19 level.
