Noble targets more success

Mark Noble believes West Ham United can inflict more travel sickness on Manchester City when they come to the Boleyn Ground on Saturday evening.

The Citizens are yet to win on the road in the Barclays Premier League this season and Hammers midfielder Noble says their win at Tottenham last time out will give them the belief that they can triumph again.

Sam Allardyce's men held Manchester City to a draw in E13 last term so Noble sees no reason why they cannot gain another positive result.

He said: "Manchester City haven't won away from home yet so that can give us some confidence straight away. They have got some fantastic players and have shown to be a force at home, but we're a good team at home too.

"We've lost a couple to worldy free-kicks against Stoke and Everton, but I'm sure the crowd will be behind us on Saturday under the floodlights and I'll think it'll be a really good game.

"We'll have to play like we normally do at home, at a high tempo, get the crowd behind us and try to make it a tough place to play.

"We played well at Tottenham and deserved the win, I thought. We caught them by surprise a little bit - it felt on the pitch that Spurs didn't know how to react to it and get around it, and we ended up coming away with the win."
