George Moncur is a ball-playing, hard-tackling central midfield player who has come through the Academy ranks at West Ham United.
Moncur, the son of former West Ham midfielder John Moncur, has been capped by England at Under-17 and Under-18 levels and made his Football League debut while on loan at npower League Two club AFC Wimbledon in January 2012.
A sharp dresser blessed with a sense of humour, Moncur will hope to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious father.

Scored in a 4-1 Development Squad pre-season victory over Swansea City on 16 July 2013...Started the Hammers third round FA Cup with Budweiser defeat to Nottingham Forest...Joined Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle on loan on 31 January 2014.
2012/13
Made his first-team debut for West Ham United in a 2-0 League Cup second-round win over Crewe Alexandra on 25 August 2012...Was an unused substitute in five Barclays Premier League fixtures in November and December 2012...Scored in Barclays U21 Premier League victories at Everton in August 2012 and at home to Southampton in April 2013. Totalled 28 Barclays U21 Premier League appearances, scoring two goals...Named Young Hammer of the Year by Academy Director Tony Carr MBE.
2011/12
Joined League Two club AFC Wimbledon on 13 January 2012...Made his Football League debut for AFC Wimbledon in a 2-1 League Two victory at Port Vale on 14 January 2012...Twice extended his loan spell with AFC Wimbledon until the end of the 2011/12 season...Scored his first Football League goal on 24 March, in a 4-0 win against Burton Albion on 24 March 2012...Scored his second goal for AFC Wimbledon on 21 April in a 2-0 home win over Torquay United...Completed his loan spell with AFC Wimbledon having scored two goals in 20 League Two appearances.
International career
Capped by England at Under-18 level, making his debut in a 3-0 win over Poland at Adams Park, Wycombe, on 16 November 2010.
