A talented attacking midfield player blessed with superb technique and passing ability, Ravel Morrison is considered to be one of English football's top young prospects.

The Wythenshawe-born player joined Manchester United as a schoolboy before making his first-team debut at the age of 17 in a 3-2 League Cup win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford in October 2010.

Morrison moved to West Ham United in January 2012, making his debut as a substitute in the 1-1 Championship draw at Leeds United on 17 March of the same year. The former England Under-18 international continued his development during a succesful loan spell at Birmingham City during the 2012/13 season.

2014/15

Made his first appearance of the season in the Capital One Cup defeat to Sheffield United on 26 August 2014...Joined Cardiff City on a three month loan on 25 September 2014.

2013/14

Scored his first goal for West Ham United in the 6-2 pre-season victory at Cork City on 7 July 2013...Made his first team debut as a second half substitute in a 0-0 draw against Newcastle on 24 August 2013...Marks his full debut in the Capital One Cup second round win over Cheltenham Town with his first goal for the club, the winner in a 2-1 victory at the Boleyn Ground on 27 August 2013...Starts his first Barclays Premier League league game for the club in a 0-0 draw against Southampton at St Mary's on 15 September 2013...Scored his first Premier League goal in a 3-2 defeat to Everton at the Boleyn Ground on 21 September 2013...Netted in the first minute of the 3-2 Capital One Cup home win over Cardiff City on 24 September 2013...Called up to the England Under-21 squad for games against San Marino and Lithuania...Scored a brilliant solo goal in a 3-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane on 6 October 2013...Netted his third Premier League goal of the season in the 3-1 defeat at Norwich City on 9 November 2013...Was loaned to Queens Park Rangers on 19 February and helped the R's win promotion to the Premier League via the Play-Offs.

2012/13

Loaned to Championship side Birmingham City on 6 August 2012...Made his Birmingham City debut in a 5-1 League Cup first-round win at Barnet on 14 August 2012...Totalled 30 appearances and three goals for Birmingham City in all competitions.

2011/12

Joined West Ham United for an undisclosed fee on 31 January 2012...Made his West Ham United debut as a substitute in the 1-1 Championship draw at Leeds United on 17 March 2012...Scored his maiden Football League goal in Birmingham City's 3-2 home Championship defeat by Hull City on 17 November 2012...Scored in Birmingham City's 4-0 Championship victory at Crystal Palace on 29 March 2013...Netted his third and final goal for Birmingham City in a 1-1 home Championship draw with Blackburn Rovers on 4 May 2013...Totalled 30 appearances for Birmingham City in all competitions, scoring three goals.

International career

Capped by England at U16, U17, U18 and U21 levels...Made his England U21 debut in a 4-0 UEFA European U21 Championship qualifying win in San Marino on 11 October 2013...Scored twice and was voted Man of the Match in a 5-0 UEFA European U21 Championship qualifying victory over Lithuania at Portman Road on 15 October 2013.
