Turgott on target

Blair Turgott scored one goal and made another as England beat Estonia 3-0 in their opening UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifier in Tallinn.

In a largely one-sided affair against the qualifying group hosts, Noel Blake's side dominated throughout and went ahead when Manchester City's Jordi Hiwula-Mayifula converted Turgott's cross before half-time.

West Ham United winger Turgott then doubled England's lead before Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom added a third to put England level on three points with Ukraine at the top of the group after they beat Faroe Islands 6-0.

England take on Faroe Islands in their second qualifier on Friday before taking on Ukraine on Monday, with the top two nations in each group advancing to the Elite Round. The finals will be held in Lithuania next July.
