Charity day at the Boleyn

The Boleyn Ground will host an Ex-West Ham v Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's charity match on Monday 4 June with kick off at 7:30pm.

As a celebration of Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the Boleyn Ground will once again be hosting a special match between a star-studded Ex-Hammers side and a team representing Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Last year's inaugural event was a great success and raised over £2,400 for the world famous charity via the evening's fundraising raffle. Hammers legends Tony Cottee and Julian Dicks will be the Team Managers and TC has once again assembled a great Hammers line-up including Steve Potts, Ian Pearce, Nigel Winterburn, George Parris, Don Hutchison, Martin Allen and many more.

Special guests for the evening will be our charity fundraising heroes Jonjo and Megan Heuerman who will lead the teams out onto the hallowed Boleyn Ground turf. The event has been organised by football event organisers Football For Fans www.footballforfans.co.uk who are themselves lifelong Hammers fans.

Spectators can pay at the gate on the night and tickets are priced at £5 adults and free for children under 16 who are to be accompanied by an adult.
