Final score - Peterborough United 0-2 West Ham United

95 mins - The final whistle is blown! West Ham close to within a point of Reading with victory tonight and it was some second-half performance. The goals were both out of the top drawer and, in truth, it could have been a cricket score late on - well, an England batsman's one at least! West Ham TV will have highlights and exclusive post-match reaction from this club record-equalling victory. Until Saturday and the Royals visit, it's goodnight from London Road.

93 mins - West Ham are all over Peterborough here. Vaz Te has another run and shot and again Jones can't hold it. Cole picks up the rebound, but his cross is cut out.

91 mins - Into the first of four added minutes and Jones is tested by Vaz Te. The ball is collected by Cole and worked back to Taylor whose second effort flies just high and wide.

90 mins - This has been the perfect away performance from the Hammers and it will equal the club record of eleven away victories in a season achieved in 1922/23 and 1957/58. Both of those seasons ended in promotion to the top-flight.

88 mins - Maynard is on for O'Neil. The No32 gets a big clap as he jogs off. That was some goal earlier on. Posh replace Frecklington with one-time Hammers winger Daniel Kearns.

87 mins - The experienced players in the West Ham team have been fantastic this half. They are closing the game out just the way it should be done. Cole keeps the ball in and Vaz Te finds Faubert. He crosses and Nolan's header loops and lands on top of the goal. Unlucky.

85 mins - Fantastic football again as McCartney overlaps down the left, cuts inside Little and shoots to the near post, where Jones just about keeps the ball out.

84 mins - Cole races on to a through ball from the brilliant Vaz Te after the No12 had romped through the middle Jones is out quickly and saves. The ball goes behind. Noble's corner is won by Collins in the air, but Posh clear.

81 mins - The away fans are 'Ole-ing' every pass. And well they might. West Ham have earned the right to play and they are keeping possession superbly. Great stuff.

78 mins - Vaz Te chooses to run at his defender rather than pass inside for Taylor. He wins a corner, but Taylor is not impressed. Nolan stops any arguments but clapping his hands and telling both of his old Bolton team-mates to get on with the game. He is a good captain, is the No4. The corner is caught by Jones after Collins had won the header at the back post.

76 mins - The West Ham fans are having some fun with each other. The 3,500 in the terrace sing 'We'd forgot that you were here!' to the 1,500 in the seats to their right. Very good!

74 mins - Tomkins has some treatment on the touchline and is now back on. Meanwhile, Cole challenges Alcock and the ball drops to Vaz Te. He shoots from about 30 yards, but the ball flies high and wide.

71 mins - Tomkins is brought down by Sinclair as the substitute tracks back. Tomkins looks in pain as he grabs his ankle. The Posh No12 is booked for his challenge, which was a tad late. Tomkins has the physio on. Taylor has gone to left-back for the time being. Tomkins looks to be a in a bit of pain. McCartney to centre-half.

69 mins - O'Neil slots the ball down the inside-right channel for Cole to chase. Alcock looks beaten but gets his body in the way. Cole is penalised for a soft foul against the No27. Cole continues and finishes well.

67 mins - The West Ham fans are imploring the goalkeeper to sign a new contract. I don't blame them! Meanwhile, Nolan tries one of his trademark back flicks and it nearly comes off as the ball loops over Jones and comes back off the crossbar!

66 mins - That's why he is an England international. Alcock gets forward from right-back well and is in space as he collects the pass about 20 yards out. He shoots low and across Green, but the No1 flings out a right hand and diverts the ball around the post for a corner. Great save. The ball in is headed clear by Cole, who is fouled.

64 mins - Faubert and Vaz Te have combined well and they do so well again there as Faubert wins a corner. Taylor takes it short and collects again before crossing to the far post. Collins jumps, but Little heads out for a corner. The second flag kick is punched away by Jones.

63 mins - Zakuani is injured and he goes off. Little will replace him. Sinclair is also coming on, with Tomlin the man to be replaced.

61 mins - Cole wins the header and it drops to Nolan. The skipper has been taking some stick from the Posh faithful and gets a bit more as he volleys wide. If the scoreline stays the same, I'd suggest he won't care a jot about the chants!

60 mins - The home fans are a bit frustrated. Meanwhile, the away hordes are giving it some away to my left. Noble swings the ball across to Faubert and he tries to find Cole. The No9 shoots but slightly mis-hits it. Jones collects.

58 mins - West Ham have been superb since half-time, they really have. Another goal would surely kill this game off once and for all. The goal difference would do the Hammers the power of good too.

57 mins - GOAL! O'Neil nets his second of the season and it's a blinder! He picks the ball up 35 yards out, makes ten and then curls an unstoppable shot past Jones and inside the left-hand post. Fantastic finish.

55 mins - Green makes a towering catch and sends Vaz Te away down the right. He wins a throw. The ball is hurled into Cole's feet. He holds play up and spins on to his left foot before finding Nolan with his back to goal eight yards out. He holds off his marker and spins and shoots, but the ball flashes narrowly wide of the post. So close to 2-0!

53 mins - Peterborough have a chance straight away as Faubert is penalised for a push. McCann slams the cross in but Collins heads clear. Strong defending from the on-loan Stoke City man.

52 mins - GOAL! It was coming... McCartney gets forward again before laying the ball back to Taylor, whose delivery is high to the far post. Vaz Te rises and heads the ball back past Jones and inside the post.

50 mins - Another cross from the left from McCartney. It's a hanging delivery but is headed clear again.

48 mins - Faubert clips the ball down the right for Nolan to chase and the skipper forces Zakuani to concede the throw. Faubert and Vaz Te combine, but the latter's cross is low and cut out. West Ham then have a couple of chances to deliver from the left, but McCartney's effort is blocked and Taylor's is headed clear.

46 mins - The diagonal ball for Taylor is aimed towards Cole, but Zakuani heads calmly back to Jones. As you would expect, Collins has slotted in to the left of Tomkins and wins his first towering header.

Half-time score - Peterborough United 0-0 West Ham United

Yes, they do. Collins replaces the injured Faye, while Faubert is on at right-back for O'Brien. The Hammers fans respond with a chorus of 'Julien, Julien'.

Collins and Faubert have gone back to the dressing room. Will West Ham make two half-time changes for the second game in succession?

50 mins - The corner is low but a rehearsed move as Boyd and then a second Posh player dummy it. The shot is smashed in from 25 yards but flashes wide of the right-hand post. The half-time whistle is blown.

49 mins - Faye is up! He looks a bit groggy though as he walks to the touchline. West Ham will have to defend the corner with ten. Taylor is also on the touchline. Collins is stripped and ready but won't be needed.

48 mins - Faye and Taylor clashed heads there as the defender tried desperately to clear his lines. Both players are down inside the six-yard box and need treatment. Taylor is up, but Faye needs the stretcher. Danny Collins would be the natural replacement.

46 mins - Into the one minute of added time and O'Neil wins a corner. There is a delay as the ball flew out of the stadium there. The delivery is good but again Peterborough clear and they break with real numbers. There are claims for a penalty. The ball breaks again to a Posh player and when Barnett heads back across goal, Faye heads to Boyd. He seems to have an age to pick his spot. He chests the ball and then volleys, but Tomkins makes an amazing block inside his six-yard box. The ball goes out for a corner. Unbelievable escape.

44 mins - Posh's Taylor shoots AGAIN. This time cutting in from the right and curling well wide of the far post with his left foot. "He likes a shot, that boy," says one journalist. You're not wrong, mate.

42 mins - Two crosses into the box, from Taylor and Vaz Te, but both are headed clear.

40 mins - West Ham looked a bit under the cosh in the opening ten minutes, but they have taken the game by the scruff of the neck in the last 20 or so.

37 mins - I don't want to tempt fate, but the Hammers are on top now. Cole has done well with his back to goal and he does so again, holding off Zakuani. The ball is laid back to Noble and his shot is deflected just wide. Taylor whips in the corner, but it's volleyed clear by the Posh No5.

34 mins - Vaz Te wins a corner. Taylor's effort is half-cleared, but Vaz Te works it back to the No14. He gets into the box and jinks past two defenders, only to scoop his shot over the stop from about 12 yards. He was a bit off-balance, to be fair to him.

33 mins - Another speculative effort from distance, this time as the ball is headed to Taylor by O'Neil. He shoots with his right foot, but it is too high and hits the roof of the stand.

32 mins - Vaz Te spins on a bouncing throw-in and volleys the cross in but it's too high for Cole and Brisley smashes the ball out for a throw.

29 mins - Taylor loves a dig and he has a go after another patient Peterborough build-up. He flashes in a shot from 22 yards but it bangs into the advertising board to the left of Green's goal. Posh are a proper pass-and-move team. You can just see flashes of blue and white darting this way and that.

27 mins - Vaz Te beats his man and wins a corner as he tries to stab the ball back into the box, but Taylor's delivery is headed clear at the near post.

25 mins - A quick throw finds Nolan on the edge of the box. His shot is blocked and the ball spins to O'Neil. He hits the ball well but it too is blocked and Posh can counter-attack. Taylor's shot is blocked, too. Barnett then tries to cross and Nolan slides in. The ball hits the Posh player and goes behind for a goal kick.

23 mins - West Ham are getting joy down their right, where O'Neil and Vaz Te are combining impressively. Another attack starts there before Noble swings the ball out to McCartney. He finds Taylor, whose low cross is cleared from the near post. Taylor follows up and puts in a challenge, but the ball squirts behind for a goal kick.

21 mins - Close. Taylor crosses to the far post and Nolan heads down for Cole. He tries to bundle the ball over the line, but Brisley does just enough to put the ball out for a corner. Taylor delivers and Posh scramble clear. West Ham collect again wide right through Noble and O'Neil, but when the cross comes over, Tomkins heads high and back past the near post. Goal kick.

20 mins - O'Neil turns well on to McCartney's pass to feet and gets into the Posh box before trying to square for Taylor. He is just beaten to the ball, but it drops to Noble. He has time to measure a cross, but lofts the ball into the hands of Jones.

18 mins - Boyd has another go from Alcock's square pass. This time the long-haired midfielder has a pop from 30 yards. The ball skips off the turf in front of Green but the No1 holds on well. West Ham then break and Cole wins a throw level with the Posh penalty area. McCartney crosses and Jones catches high above his head.

16 mins - Tomkins is called into action twice in quick succession, clearing Alcock's dangerous cross before throwing himself in front of a powerful shot from Boyd. Peterborough then win a free-kick as O'Neil commits a foul. McCann swings it in and Faye heads clear.

15 mins - A first save for Jones to make. Vaz Te controls on the edge of the box before driving the shot in from the corner of the area. Jones initially fumbles but then leaps on the loose ball before it can cost his team dear.

13 mins - West Ham trying to get a foothold in the game after that let-off. O'Brien gets into the box and goes down. He gets up but is then tackled and the chance is gone. Posh do love to knock the ball around at pace and they are doing it well so far.

10 mins - Taylor comes within a few inches of giving the hosts the lead. The No26 cuts in from the left and wins the loose ball before curling a shot that beats Green and cannons back off the face of the crossbar. The rebound drops to Frecklington, but his effort is weak and straight at Green.

9 mins - West Ham haven't found any rhythm going forward yet as Cole is not bossing the aerial battles with Zakuani and Brisley. As I type, he wins a towering header down and Taylor has a yard of space, but his poke is an easy claim for the goalkeeper.

7 mins - Posh have some good possession but they cannot find a way through or around the Hammers defence. Faye and Taylor stand firm first, then O'Brien and O'Neil combine on the other flank. A third attempt down the right by full-back Alcock is overhit and Barnett's chase is a forlorn one. Goal kick.

4 mins - Noble clips the ball on to Cole's chest but he goes down and nothing is given. Vaz Te and O'Neil keep the ball alive before Noble wins a throw. West Ham work the ball from right to left and win another throw. McCartney slots a ball to Taylor, whose cross from the byline is well picked up by Jones at the near post.

3 mins - A chance for Noble to put a quality ball into the box as O'Neil is fouled as he challenges for a high ball inside the Posh half...

2 mins - The home fans are definitely up for this too as they roar their team forward again, but Faye is there to clean up under pressure from Taylor.

25 seconds - Peterborough elect to try to play through West Ham from the kick-off and it nearly works as Boyd's pass drops to Taylor but he is forced backwards. Posh come again and the ball is blocked by McCartney but Tomlin follows up and sees his bobbling effort held by Green.

7.45pm - Boos from the home fans as the two teams swap ends for the first half. Peterborough will kick-off through Taylor and Boyd.

7.43pm - Here come the two teams, led by captains Kevin Nolan and former Hammer Grant McCann.

7.35pm - There are plenty of exclusive images from tonight's game like the one below to be viewed on the club's official Facebook page here. See if you can spot your friends in the crowd!

7.15pm - There are 5,000 Hammers fans here for tonight's re-arranged game. If you remember, the match was originally meant to be played on Saturday 11 February, only for sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow to see the game postponed on matchday. The travelling hordes are taking up nearly half of the stadium, with 3,500 standing on the terrace away to my left.

7pm - Mascot Jon Ellis has been into the Away Dressing Room to meet his Hammers heroes, including Carlton Cole.

6.50pm - The team news is in. Faye and Vaz Te return to the starting XI, with Collins and Collison dropping out of the team. Collins is on the bench, alongside weekend substitutes Baldock, Maynard and Carew.

Good evening and welcome to a sun-drenched London Road for tonight's re-arranged npower Championship fixture between Peterborough United and West Ham United.

The last time the Hammers were here, in summer 2010, former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was in attendance and Sam Allardyce's side will be determined to land a knockout blow on the Posh this evening.

West Ham begin the evening four points adrift of second-place Reading, but with tonight's game in-hand on the Royals, who visit the Boleyn Ground this coming Saturday afternoon.

Big Sam will be hopeful of pulling of a club record-equalling eleventh away victory of the season, having watched his players completely dominate Saturday's 2-2 draw at Burnley. The Hammers are also boosted by the returns from injury of Abdoulaye Faye, Ricardo Vaz Te and Julien Faubert.

The hosts were beaten 1-0 at Barnsley on Saturday and begin the evening 18th in the table. While their 44-point haul should see Darren Ferguson's men safe from the drop, they will be eager to get to 50 as soon as possible to make themselves feel completely secure of extending their Championship stay into a second season.

West Ham, of course, want to make sure they only remain at this level for one season for different reasons. While Big Sam is big pals with Ferguson's father Sir Alex, there will be no old pals act in Cambridgeshire tonight.

We will have the team news confirmed at around 6.45pm, with the lineups published first on the club's official twitter feed.
