'2420' T-shirt winners revealed

West Ham United fans showed their claret and blue creativity in their droves with our fantastic '2 for £20' design a T-shirt competition.

Hundreds of would-be Hammers designers entered the contest in the hope of coming up with a winning slogan for a new T-shirt after the stunning success of the professional entries on sale in the club stores and online this season.

Anyone who is anyone, including super striker Sam Baldock (pictured), has been wearing the T-shirts this season - priced at just '2 for £20'. They are perfect for a match at the Boleyn, a night in the bar or even a holiday on the beach.

Eye-catching designs like 'The only way is West Ham', West Ham-England and 'Keep calm and support West Ham' have certainly got everyone talking.

The entries were all whittled down to a shortlist for public vote at the officialwesthamstore.com. More than 6,000 people had their say on their favourite designs and the 12 winners can now be named for the first time. Each successful designer has won a £100 retail voucher.

The final dozen designs are:

On the 6th day, God created Moore - Richard Clements
Pride of East London - Tony Long
West Ham Til I Die… - Tommy Shaw
Ironworks (old logo) - Andy Harding
Stand out if you love West Ham - Mikko Bergstrom
1966 West Ham United - World Cup - John O'Brien
Irons…passion, glory, hope, nerve, guts - Paul Morrish
1964/1975/1980 Enough said - Robert Lake
Born…Heart in... - Les Gill
I've got the X Factor - P Warren
Live life in a bubble - Jeremy Potter
I'm the only West Ham fan in the village - Ben Giles

The club would like to thanks all who took part in the competition.

The winners have all been contacted, their vouchers posted and all have agreed to have their names displayed on their winning T-Shirt. Where there were multiple entries for the same design, the winner was the first entry received.

The club can confirm production has already started on the dozen T-Shirts and these will be available instore and online in the next three weeks - just in time for Christmas.

To continue the 'By the fans, For the fans' philosophy, the club's retail department have added more supporters to the supplier base to join Gary Steer and his hugely popular poetry range.

New in at the Stadium Store and online only are Steve Marsh's player postcards. Steve is an active member of the Supporter Advisory Board and his special manager and player prints are available now at just 99p each.

Watch out as well for a new Hammers bedroom lampshade, hand-created by Bill and Ann Hawthorne. Limited numbers will be available for this original production when it arrives in December.
