West Ham United's opening fixture of the 2011/12 npower Championship season against Cardiff City has been moved back to Sunday 7 August.
The Boleyn Ground fixture will now kick off at 1pm. It will be the Hammers' first meeting with the Welsh side since a 1-0 home win at Upton Park in a league fixture on 6 February 2005.

The Hammers will warm up for the visit of Cardiff, which will be screened live on BBC, with a Saturday 30 July fixture against Spanish side Real Zaragoza - the club they beat in the 1964/65 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup semi-finals en route to lifting the trophy. It will be the first chance for fans to get a glimpse of the new faces in the Hammers squad including Kevin Nolan.
