Victor Obinna has been nominated for the E.ON 'Player of the Round' award following his performance in the FA Cup fourth round.
The Hammers forward scored a memorable hat-trick in a 3-2 home win against Nottingham Forest that ensured a fifth-round meeting with Burnley at the Boleyn Ground on Monday 21 February.
Obinna was singled out by a five-strong panel on TheFA.com, made up of FA Cup great Ricky George, E.ON executive director Graham Bartlett, Radio 5Live presenter Mark Chapman, Daily Star sports editor Howard Wheatcroft and TV personality Tim Lovejoy.
Obinna is up against Ryan Giggs (Manchester United), Kevin Phillips (Birmingham City), Neal Bishop (Notts County) and Scott Bevan (Torquay United). The voting continues until midday on 14 February.
