West Ham United can confirm the Carling Cup first-round tie against Aldershot Town will now take place at 7.45pm on Wednesday 24 August.
Originally due to take place this evening, the match was postponed late last night on police advice.
Tickets purchased for the original Tuesday 9 August fixture will still be valid for the rearranged date.
