Robbie Keane and Richard Dunne will need no introduction should the pair go head to head during Saturday's Barclays Premier League showdown between West Ham United and Aston Villa.

Keane has told the matchday programme how he and Republic of Ireland team-mate Dunne have been close friends since their teenage years.

Should the duo meet on the pitch this weekend, the 30-year-old has vowed to do his friend no favours and is eager to secure bragging rights over the Villa centre-back.

"Me and Dunney are really good friends and have been room-mates since we were 17 with the Irish team," said the Hammers No34. "The two of us lived in the same area back home in Dublin so we're good pals and it's always fun to play against him.

"Hopefully I'll be shaking his hand at the end of the game and we'll have the three points in our pockets. He's one of the best centre-halves in the Premier League so I'm not surprised he's back in the team there. As for whether he has any bad habits when we room together, I'm not telling you!"

The Hammers No34 answers supporters' in the Fans' Mailbag feature in Saturday's programme, discussing everything from his favourite stadium to the story behind his famous 'forward roll' celebration.
