Play at the Boleyn

Supporters have got to move fast if they want to secure their place and play at the Boleyn Ground in a team managed by a West Ham United great this summer.

Fans can make dreams come true by taking part in 'The Big Match' at the historic home of the Hammers on 25 May 2011. In all, 32 places were up for grabs to be part of two squads managed by former West Ham players Steve Potts and Julian Dicks - although many spots have already been taken.

Would-be players can bid for a place in either squad, with a proportion of the proceeds being donated to charity.

Organised by Football Nights, the successful bidders will change into their kit in the Boleyn Ground dressing rooms before taking to the pitch for a 90-minute match complete with officials.

Squads will comprise of 16 players each, with roll-on roll-off substitutions meaning everyone gets a chance to sample the unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

Following the final whistle, both teams will be presented with medals and have their photos taken, while players will be able to take their kit home with them to keep forever.

There will also be match action shots available on a post-match CD, while every player will be able to keep their kit as well.

There is no fixed price to play, you need simply place a bid stating how much you are bidding, which team you want to play in and in what position. If you are a keen Hammers fan and can kick a ball - this is a must for you.
