Seb falls short

Sebastian Lletget will miss out on the FIFA U-20 World Cup after the United States failed to beat Guatemala in the 2011 CONCACAF U20 Championship quarter-finals.

The host nation won 2-1 to dash the American dream, with only the continental semi-finalists going through to the world showpiece in Colombia in July-August. Still only 18, promising midfielder Lletget played every minute of the US's three games at the finals and will have gained vital experience to take back to the club.

Lletget is unlikely to be involved this weekend when the Academy side welcome Watford to Little Heath but could force his way into contention for the reserves next Tuesday when they receive Aston Villa to Bishop's Stortford. He has made four substitute appearances for the second string this season but has yet to start at that level.
