Pay on the day for Blackpool

Fans coming along to the big Barclays Premier League encounter with Blackpool on Saturday afternoon will be able to pay on the day.

The ticket office will be open from 9am for what promises to be a major match at the Boleyn Ground. The Hammers have been hard to beat this season, with just two defeats in ten games, but know a victory is much needed.

With demand expected to be high and also the Remembrance weekend tributes taking place just before the 3pm kick-off, fans are advised to get to the stadium early.

The skipper Matthew Upson said everyone is up for the fight. "We need to raise our intensity and our level of aggression with the ball," he said. "I think we need to give it a real good go on Saturday and if we do, then we can win the game so all is not lost."

On a personal note, Upson has been picking up positive notices for his recent form. "I'm getting close to getting in the form I want to be in," he said. "I've had a couple of niggly little injuries the last couple of weeks which have slowed me down a little bit but hopefully I'm on the track to a full performance."
