A powerful and speedy forward, Frank Nouble joined West Ham United at the age of 17 in the summer of 2009.

The talented England Under-19 international scored on his Hammers debut in a pre-season win at non-league Thurrock on 24 July.

A fine full Barclays Premier League debut followed at Aston Villa in January 2010 before the striker headed off on productive loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Swindon Town.

2011/12

Scored in 2-1 pre-season defeat by BSC Young Boys in Switzerland on 16 July 2011...Appeared in the Carling Cup first-round defeat by Aldershot Town on 24 August 2011 - his 20th birthday...Loaned to League Two club Gillingham on 16 September 2011...Scored on his Gillingham debut in a 6-1 League Two win at Hereford United on 17 September 2011...Totalled 13 npower League Two appearances and five goals for Gillingham...Scored his maiden league goal for West Ham United in the 2-1 npower Championship defeat at Derby County on 31 December 2011...Joined Barnsley on loan on 9 March 2012, totalling six npower Championship appearances for the club...Totalled five appearances for West Ham United in all competitions...Totalled 25 appearances and six goals in all competitions for West Ham United, Gillingham and Barnsley.
