A lively attacker who can play on either wing or through the middle, Anthony Edgar is a talented and confident young player.

The cousin of England striker Jermain Defoe, Edgar followed in his relation's footsteps by joining AFC Bournemouth on loan midway through the 2009/10 season.

A star at Academy and reserve-team levels, the youngster will be hoping to make his mark in the Barclays Premier League before too long.

2010/11

Signed a new one-year contract on 3 June 2010...Scored the winner in the 2-1 pre-season friendly success at Peterborough United on 14 July 2010.
