Wigan close to selling out

Fans who have yet to buy their tickets for the major meeting with Wigan Athletic will need to move fast this week as there are fewer than 1,500 seats still available.

The match on Saturday 24 April promises to be a decisive one in terms of the Hammers' survival hopes and is the penultimate match of the season at the Boleyn Ground. Gianfranco Zola's men will be welcoming back Scott Parker for the contest after suspension as they look to avenge a 1-0 defeat at the DW Stadium in September.

With Wigan also fighting for their Barclays Premier League lives but on a high after a 3-2 win against Arsenal, a packed stadium will no doubt help the claret and blue cause. The club are also expecting the final match of the season against Manchester City on 9 May to sell out soon, with the squad on a high after four points from six as they head to Liverpool on Monday.
