More than 60 Licensees, potential Licensees and journalists travelled to the Boleyn Ground last Thursday for the club's first ever Communication Day.
High profile speakers at the event included Ian Tompkins, Head of Corporate Affairs, Tam Lever, Head of Retail and Eamon McDaid, Buying and Merchandising Manager. Former West Ham United players Tony Gale and Tony Cottee were on hand to share some of their experiences at the club.
An insightful presentation updated the attendees on the exciting developments at the club on the pitch and in the retail and licensing sectors. The day was rounded off with a stadium tour, which gave a unique insight into the club's 114 years of history and the ground that has been their home since 1904.
Tam Lever from West Ham United said: "The Communication Day was a fantastic opportunity to welcome all our existing Licensees and potential new Licensees to West Ham United. We were delighted with the attendance and very pleased to be able to use the day to provide updates and information about Club retail and Communication strategy. We look forward to this becoming a regular annual event at the Boleyn Ground."
