Deniz Mehmet and his Turkey team-mates will face Costa Rica for a second time following a rain-soaked day at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Nigeria on Wednesday.
The town of Enugu was besieged by a series of torrential downpours, forcing Turkey's Group D match with the Central Americans to be abandoned after 21 minutes.
Mehmet and his colleagues were forced to head for their dressing room after the pitch at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium was deemed unplayable.
The match will now be replayed in its entirety on Thursday at 3pm, in accordance with FIFA tournament regulations.
Turkey will be looking for their second straight victory, having beaten Burkina Faso 1-0 in their opening match on Sunday.
In Wednesday's other Group D fixture, the Africans drew 1-1 with New Zealand in a match that was also interrupted by the rain, forcing the two teams off for a one hour, 45 minute break after 63 minutes of play while water was cleared from the playing surface.
Turkey go into Thursday's match top of the group with three points from one game, while New Zealand have two points from two games. Costa Rica drew their only game 1-1 with the Kiwis, while Burkina Faso are bottom with one point from two matches.
The Turks finish their group-stage fixtures by facing New Zealand in Calabar on Saturday evening.
