The West Ham United players will demonstrate their support for this year's Poppy Appeal by wearing special shirts for the Barclays Premier League visit of Everton.
Every player will sport a shirt embroidered with a poppy for the game at the Boleyn Ground on Sunday 8 November. The shirts will then be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal.
Club Ambassador Tony Cottee, who recently joined Tony Gale in helping to launch the Royal British Legion East Ham branch's appeal, spoke of the Hammers' commitment to the cause.
"Everyone at the club believes it's very important to honour and support those who have given up so much in the service of their country," said Cottee. "It's especially important in this part of London, which went through so much during World War II."
