West Ham United duo Matthew Upson and Robert Green have joined Aston Villa striker and England team-mate Emile Heskey to help underprivileged children in Africa by handing over their football boots.
The players, together with other members of the England squad, are supporting the Shoe Aid for Africa campaign, which kicks off tomorrow.
Pupils at more than 500 schools across the UK have already pledged to donate their unwanted shoes in a bid to change a child's life in Africa.
This year's Shoe Aid for Africa campaign has adopted a football theme to correspond with the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
Collection bins will be located in all participating schools across the UK from October 5 to 9.
