Tony Carr's West Ham United Under-18 side will have a youthful look when the Hammers head to MK Dons for their latest FA Premier Academy League fixture on Saturday.
With Alex Dyer's reserve team in action at Stoke City on Monday evening, Carr is expected to again call upon a number of the club's Under-16 regulars, including full-backs Miles Smith and Callum Driver, Spanish defender Sergio Sanchez and strikers Daniel Subuola and Robert Hall.
The likes of defenders Holmar Orn Eyjolfsson and Matt Fry, midfielders Conor Okus, Oliver Lee and Daniel Kearns and striker Balint Bajner could all be given the weekend off ahead of possible involvement in Monday evening's trip to Nantwich Town FC to take on the Potters.
Josh Payne, who began the season as youth team captain, will also be absent as he is now training with the first-team squad on a full-time basis.
On Saturday, Carr's youngsters will seek to extend their unbeaten run to three matches at Newport Road, Woughton-on-the Green, having beaten Crystal Palace 4-1 and drawing 1-1 with Cardiff City in each of their last two fixtures. MK Dons go into the match having drawn 1-1 at Fulham last weekend.
West Ham are fifth in the FA Premier Academy League Group A table, five points behind second-placed Crystal Palace. The Dons are bottom of Group B, having won just one of the 22 matches they have played this season.
