Budding young players dreaming of becoming a Hammers hero are being invited to a special free football day at the new West Ham United Academy development centre.
Boys of school age in reception, year one and year two can attend the event on Monday 6 April to take part in special small-sided matches where the emphasis will be firmly on fun football. Full-time academy coaches will be on hand to run the rule over the youngsters with aspiring goalkeepers also welcome to have a go. The event takes place at Emerson Park Sports College in Hornchurch.
Academy staff are also staging a similar session nine days later on Wednesday 15 April at Norman Booth Centre in Old Harlow.
