Hammers at Expo

West Ham United will be one of the star attractions at the inaugural London Football Expo.

The event, which will take place at Earl's Court between Friday 24 and Sunday 26 July, will allow supporters to meet representative from football clubs, the media and kit suppliers. Admission is free.

Former West Ham striker Tony Cottee will meet fans between 2pm and 4pm on Friday 24 July, while club representatives will be available on all three days to listen to comments and suggestions.

Visitors will be able to receive coaching from West Ham United Community Sports Trust coaches, as well as finding out more about club merchandise and the 2009/10 home kit, which will be launched on 30 July.

London Football Expo Managing Director Rob Shelton said the organisers were delighted to have West Ham in attendance at the event.

"Having West Ham join the show is great news and shows the level of interest this event has generated," said Shelton. "The club are fully committed to their community programmes and this show will be an excellent platform for them to showcase their schemes as well as the commercial side of their business."

Aside from the Hammers, fellow Barclays Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea will also be present at the Expo, while representatives from the Football League, London FA and BBC London will also be available to meet supporters.

Fans will also be able to meet kit suppliers to discuss and view the latest trends in football boots, shin pads, balls and other training equipment.

The Expo will take place in Earl's Court 2 between 10am and 8pm on Friday 24 July and between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 25 July and Sunday 26 July.
