West Ham United face a tricky test when they face Liverpool on Monday night.
The Hammers have not won at Anfield since a 2-1 success in the old First Division on 14 September 1964. Liverpool have won ten of the last 13 league meetings on Merseyside and so the visitors are 10/1 to win at Anfield with JAXX. The draw is 83/20, while the Reds are odds-on at 1/4 to record their sixth home win of the season.
One statistic of note is the amount of goals scored in league games between the sides. Five of the last seven Premier League meetings have contained more than two goals and, if you count the memorable FA Cup final, it is six of the last eight games. Of the nine games played between the two in the month of December, dating back to 1914, not one of those has contained more than two goals. JAXX offer 3/4 that there will be more than 2.5 goals scored in Monday's fixture, while it is 17/20 that there will be fewer than three goals.
Seven of the London side's last 13 trips to Anfield have seen defeat by more than one clear goal, but prior to last season's 4-0 reverse, the last four league meetings between the two have seen just one goal separate them. With that in mind, the Hammers could be good value at 47/20 with a goal start on the JAXX handicap market. For Liverpool by the odd goal, the 14/5 for the draw on the same market is available. It is 3/5 that the Reds win by two clear goals or more.
If West Ham United can come away with a point or more, the draw and victory can be combined in the JAXX Double Chance market. Either a draw or a victory for them can be backed at 47/20.
Five of the last eight meetings have seen one side or other fail to score. It is 17/20 for both sides to score and 3/4 that at least one side fails to find the net. JAXX offer 7/10 that West Ham United score at any time and it is 9/10 that they do not. After two successive clean sheets, it is 43/10 that Robert Green keeps another at Anfield.
JAXX offer Correct Score betting on each game. The odds for a 2-0 Liverpool win are 9/2, while a 2-1 victory is on offer at 15/2. The odds for West Ham United to win 2-1 are 29/1, while a 1-1 draw is a 15/2 shot.
West Ham United are only seven points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa and Gianfranco Zola's side can be backed at 66/1 with JAXX to win the Premier League without the Big Four (Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea). Jaxx also offer a number of exclusive Season Specials.
What is more, Jaxx offer to match the first bet placed up to £25. For example, if the first bet is £25, Jaxx will double it and give another £25 bet absolutely free. Log on to jaxx.com for more details.
