Valon Behrami got a planned 45 minutes for Switzerland as they ran out 1-0 friendly winners at home to Finland on Wednesday evening.
The West Ham United midfielder came off the bench in the second half as a replacement for Gelson Fernandes, the man who had started in his place for Ottmar Hitzfeld's men. The substitution may have had a galvanising impact in St Gallen as the Swiss went on to get a late winner through Reto Ziegler.
