Mark Noble expects to be better for the experience of the last week with West Ham United and knows what a weekend win would mean for every single supporter.
White Hart Lane was the scene of his first Premier League start back in November 2005 and he needs no excuse to be fired up once again. "We've lost to Chelsea 4-0 and lost to Liverpool 4-0 but you need these times in your career to make you stronger," the homegrown 20-year-old midfielder said ahead of the short trip to Tottenham Hotspur. "Hopefully I can take that from this. We need to train hard and get ourselves ready for Sunday because it's a massive game for the fans and for the club and we need to put the performance in.
"We have to pick ourselves up. We have to get ourselves together in the days leading up to the game and we have to put a performance in. We got punished the last two games and we haven't been good enough so we have to get on with it and put a performance in on Sunday." Noble felt no positives could be taken from the midweek loss at Anfield and said the key to turning it around was simple. "If we don't score goals then we're not going to win games," he claimed.
