West Ham United can confirm that Nolberto Solano is one of five players that has left the club since the end of the 2007/08 campaign.
The 33-year-old Peru midfielder scored four goals in 23 league appearances for Alan Curbishley's team, and also played in two cup games. He signed off his Boleyn Ground career with a superb free-kick to open the scoring in the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on the final day of the season. Irish youth international defender Lorcan Fitzgerald and midfielder Lee Hales have also been given free transfers while scholars Robbie Blackwell, a full-back, and striker Ben Hunt have not been offered pro contracts.
