John Pantsil has been cleared to play in Ghana's remaining two group games at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations after further medical tests.
The right-back will hope to figure in Thursday's second Group A outing against Namibia after playing in the 2-1 win against Guinea last Sunday. Following that victory, in which he received a head injury, he complained of dizziness and was taken to hospital. Although the versatile defender has since been given the all-clear, he will be closely monitored.
Meanwhile, his club-mate Henri Camara played the last half-hour off the substitute's bench on Wednesday night as Senegal began their Group D campaign with a 2-2 draw against 2004 champions Tunisia. The striker, who is making his third finals appearance, will hope for a starting berth when Senegal are next in action on Sunday night against Angola.
