The first-team squad were put through their paces at Chadwell Heath ahead of the weekend return to Premier League action against Fulham.
Chief among those hoping to figure at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday is former Craven Cottage favourite Luis Boa Morte. The Portuguese forward is fit again, along with the likes of Lee Bowyer and Matthew Etherington. All three wide men will therefore hope to be in contention when Alan Curbishley comes to pick his matchday 16.
Also, looking good was Julien Faubert, who took a full part in the sessions but is being eased in gently - given that he has not played a first-team game since injuring his achilles back on 17 July. Similarly, Craig Bellamy and Nolberto Solano were also on view but like Faubert may have to wait at least a week or two before being in contention.
