Date change for Liverpool match

West Ham United can confirm that the Barclays Premier League home fixture against Liverpool will now take place on Wednesday 30 January.

The match, which will get under way at 7.45pm, was originally scheduled to be played 24 hours earlier on Tuesday 29 January. All tickets for the original date remain valid. The reason for the change is due to possible involvement in an FA Cup fourth-round tie at Sheffield United at 4pm on Sunday 27 January - a match that will be screened live on Sky Sports regardless of who wins through to play at Bramall Lane.

The winners will be known when West Ham United meet Manchester City in a third-round replay at the City of Manchester Stadium on Wednesday 16 January, kick-off at 8.05pm. This game will be televised on BBC1 - a similar occurrence to when the teams met in the 2005/06 FA Cup sixth round and West Ham United won 2-1 away before going all the way to the final.

West Ham United are also due to be on TV on Sunday 20 January, when they go to City again - this time for a league encounter. Sky Sports will screen the match live from 4pm. Finally, no date has yet been set for the postponed Liverpool away fixture, which was originally due to take place on 15 August. whufc.com will have all the latest information regarding this match as soon as it is confirmed with both clubs.
