Henri Camara has been confirmed in Senegal's final 23-man squad for this month's African Cup of Nations.
The Dakar-born striker had originally been named in the 40-man provisional selection by coach Henri Kasperczak last month and was always likely to make the final cut. He appeared in the previous two editions as well as scoring two goals at the 2002 World Cup. He is one of seven English-based players who will hope to figure when Senegal open their Group D campaign against Tunisia on Wednesday 23 January.
The country will then face Angola four days later before finishing their group campaign against South Africa on 31 January. All three matches will be televised live on BBC Interactive. John Pantsil, West Ham United's other representative at the finals, is almost certain to figure in Ghana's squad, which has yet to be cut from 26 players to 23. Ghana are the host nation for this year's finals.
