Tom Harvey cites Academy graduate turned England international Joe Cole as his all-time favourite West Ham United player and the budding central midfielder has shown plenty of promise himself.
The Dagenham-based teenager joined the club as a schoolboy at the age of 13, and has consolidated himself as a member of the Under-18s in the 2007/08 campaign. His first goal at that level came with a stunning curled effort at home against Charlton Athletic in a 3-3- draw on 26 January.
Harvs - as he known to his team-mates - has a good approach off the field as well, with Tony Carr citing his "tremendous attitude" and willingness to "give 100 per cent". He would most like to play against Steven Gerrard and dreams of playing regularly at Upton Park. He got the chance to do just that in the FA Youth Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers in December 2007, although the match ended in a 2-0 defeat.
