Like West Ham United fans the world over, Ray Winstone is particularly looking forward to the derby match away to Chelsea on Saturday.
A lifelong supporter, Ray took time out from his busy schedule to share his thoughts on the trip to Stamford Bridge with WHUTV. "That's anybody's game," he said. "It don't matter whether you are top of the league or bottom. We ain't bottom we are middle at the minute and we have been playing with 12 of our first team regulars out. Who knows what can happen?"
He said Alan Curbishley's side would certainly be up for the contest, not least Mark Noble and Dean Ashton - "who know what a derby is" - before adding "I don't think we should fear anyone at the minute". However, the acclaimed actor acknowledged that, like West Ham United, Chelsea have several players who know what is at stake.
"It is a derby and they have got a lot of London boys who actually come from here," he said. "The Lampards, John Terry - who is out of this manor - and Joey Cole - they know what a derby game is all about. It will mean a lot to them."
