Blackburn v Hammers: Big Match Preview

Blackburn Rovers v West Ham United
Saturday 17th March, Ewood Park
Kick off: 5.15pm, live on Premiership Plus

Team News:

Blackburn midfielder David Dunn is available for selection after suspension but Aaron Mokoena is serving a suspension and Ryan Nelson is a major doubt with a hamstring injury.

Nigel Reo-Coker has served his two-match ban and is available and James Collins is back after his problematic groin injury. Matthew Upson is still unavailable and Nigel Quashie is a doubt with an injured foot.

Background:

West Ham United haven't won at Ewood Park in nine outings but they have won all of the last eight meetings between the two sides at Upton Park.

Goals from Teddy Sheringham and Hayden Mullins saw Hammers earn a 2-1 home win against Mark Hughes' side in October.

Stats:

Blackburn are looking for a fifth straight victory in all competitions and are unbeaten in six games, conceding only one goal, while Hammers are hoping to claim their first away win of the season.

The referee will be Howard Webb from Yorkshire, who has officiated in two Hammers matches this season: at home to Charlton and away at Bolton.
