West Ham United can confirm that striker Marlon Harewood has joined Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old signed a three-year deal at Villa Park on Tuesday afternoon, and will join up with his former Hammers team-mate Nigel Reo-Coker, who made the same switch earlier this month.
Harewood joined the Hammers from Nottingham Forest in November 2003 for a fee of £500,000 and went on to make 180 league and cup appearances for the Club, scoring 56 goals.
West Ham United would like to thank Marlon for his service and
wish him every success in his future career with Aston Villa.
