Hammers youngsters Jordan Spence and Tom Harvey were in action for England Under17s again yesterday - as they lost their final game of the Algarve tournament 3-1 to Germany.
England took the lead through Middlesbrough's Jonathan Franks but Germany scored three times after the break to win both the game and the tournament.
Spence and Harvey played key roles throughout the tournament for England as they finished runners-up and the boys will be in the running to feature in the up-coming Elite Qualifying Round for the European Championships next week.
Meanwhile, Hogan Ephraim, who is on loan at Colchester this
season, is expected to make the squad for the England Under19s
friendly match against Turkey next month at the Keepmoat Stadium in
Doncaster.
