West Ham United Executive Head Chef Keith Ross is planning a Premiership tour - with a difference.
Keith is set to cycle to every Premiership ground in the country between Portsmouth and Newcastle and return to Upton Park within two weeks.
After suffering a heart attack in July last year, 37-year-old Keith was brought by ambulance to the London Chest Hospital where he underwent an emergency angioplasty. Fortunately, doctors confirmed there is no lasting damage to his heart.
Keith will set off on March 12 alongside cardiologist Dr Andrew Deaner - the doctor who operated on him! The pair have undertaken the cycle challenge in a bid to raise money towards our cutting-edge Heart Cells appeal.
Keith said: "The team at the London Chest Hospital saved my life and I wanted to give something back in thanks for my treatment."
Please sponsor Keith and Andrew and help raise funds for the Heart Cells Appeal.
You can donate securely online at www.justgiving.com/CYCLE2012 or send a cheque made payable to Heart Cells Appeal Fund. You can post your cheque to: Heart of the Game Cycle Ride, Fundraising Office, London Chest Hospital, Bonner Road, London E2 9JX.
Both Keith and Andrew's achievements will be honoured at a glamorous Celebration of Football evening at Upton Park on Friday, 30th of March 2007.
Hammers heroes Alan Devonshire, Tony Gale and Phil Parkes will all be there to celebrate as exceptional pieces of football memorabilia from all 20 Premiership clubs are awarded and auctioned at the black tie event.
