Freddie Ljungberg is relishing a return to former club Arsenal on New Year's Day and has told WHUTV he is determined to come away with the points.
The Sweden captain has become a mainstay of the Hammers midfield in recent weeks, starting the last five games including Saturday's "amazing" 2-1 win at home against Manchester United. Next up is the London derby and the key for Ljungberg is that West Ham United believe in their ability to match anyone.
He said: "If you look at the first half against United we played amazing football and we should work on that and think about it. We shouldn't see it that they are the big club, this is the big club - we should get more confidence in ourselves and fight a bit more."
