More than 1,500 young fans had a Christmas celebration to remember this year at the Boleyn Ground - and check out WHUTV later for special video coverage.
Every December, the club puts on two huge festive parties for Youth Academy members as a special treat. The entire first-team players, including Anton Ferdinand (pictured right), are the guests of honour - helping to make the starry-eyed youngsters' Christmas complete.
The parties are the ideal opportunities for the kids to get up close and personal with the players they watch week in, week out - with their heroes only too happy to oblige with autographs and posing for pictures. Each party caters for up to 800 children with the first-team squad putting in appearances at both.
The children have a meal, play games, get to dance to music and then the players enter as the main attraction. They are not the only VIPs present though, with mascots Bubbles and Herbie also centre of attention - and not forgetting Father Christmas. The parties are a long-standing tradition at the Boleyn Ground and judging by the reception this year's received - are set to be here for years to come.
